Clayrite creates the perfect surface
Put the bounce back into your game with Playrite tennis surfaces!
Playrite was approached to design a synthetic tennis surface that would simulate natural clay courts, without the high maintenance.
Clayrite does just that!
It is the only UK synthetic grass surface that has been awarded the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Slow-Medium pace rating under Category 2, this means you are guaranteed a high performance surface with a greater level of enjoyment.
Clayrite is the ultimate clay surface for the tennis professional, as Chris Pickles, Director of Playrite, explains: “Traditionally clay courts are known for being fast paced, whereas Clayrite offers a more comfortable pace that is preferred by most players. We have responded to demand from tennis clubs for a surface that offers all year round play, with low maintenance and an enhanced appearance. The response so far has been fantastic - from players and clubs alike and we are really excited about what this will mean for tennis clubs!”
Clayrite has been installed on several prestigious installations, including Hampton in Arden, Warwick and Moseley Tennis clubs.
Comments from the club, said: “The Clayrite surface looks like clay, plays like clay and slides like clay, with the added benefit of minimal maintenance. It means we have all-year-round facilities and the potential to increase membership.”
Clayrite is a sand-dressed surface that has been designed to look and perform like a traditional clay surface, but without the high maintenance costs. It is ideal for upgrading worn-out courts, replacing them with a low maintenance option that allows for all-weather usage.
Clayrite comes with a five year guarantee.
